The Lead Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in preparing monthly financial analysis reports, developing and managing budgets across various cost centers, and generating comprehensive revenue and cost reports. The ideal candidate will also gather essential information for third-party audits and provide operational support on accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Record daily cash transactions.
  • Process weekly credit card transactions.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Department to ensure timely and accurate month-end accounting close.
  • Conduct reconciliations of various balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Oversee the Company's fixed asset sub-ledger and related financial reporting.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses at the request of the CFO to support operational and financial objectives.
  • Assist the CFO, Controller, and Accountant in compiling monthly investor and bank reporting packages.
  • Generate weekly KPIs by division and region for management reporting.
  • Support the year-end audit and tax compliance processes.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to assist the Company's operations and finance teams.
  • Extract and manipulate data from proprietary construction and accounting software.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports from various software systems.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • One to two years of experience in private or public accounting, or two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis skills (including pivot tables and complex formulas).
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (experience with Acumatica is a significant advantage).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Honest, trustworthy, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Able to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess an energetic, hands-on approach to tackling tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to compile, understand, and summarize large datasets using Excel.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and possess strong communication skills to collaborate with a large accounting team and the Company's operational divisions.
  • Able to take ownership of assigned areas with support from the Controller, CFO, and Accountant.
  • Problem solver with the ability to identify and communicate issues and information clearly and concisely.
