About Us:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Strategy Analyst for a fully remote role. A CPA certification is required. In this position, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing the administration of budgeting and forecasting processes,
  • Conducting Asset Liability Management (ALM) modeling and assumptions, including ALM Economic Value and Net Interest Income (NII) forecasts, cash flow and liquidity management, along with investment recommendations for the organization.
This role also involves assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting principles. The Senior Financial Strategy Analyst will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Bank's ALM and capital stress testing modeling initiatives, focusing on interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and balance sheet optimization.
  • Lead the preparation of the annual operating budget, maintaining budgetary information in the accounting system, reviewing budget variances, and reporting outcomes to management.
  • Analyze various scenarios for strategic planning, preparing detailed analytical cost analyses and projections.
  • Review cash management positions to ensure sufficient liquidity for optimal cash utilization.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in ALM and capital stress testing activities to support a robust internal control environment.
  • Supervise regular updates to model assumptions, including loan prepayment speeds, deposit decay, and betas.
  • Manage and evaluate balance sheet modeling, net interest income (NII), economic value (NEV), and forecast simulations across multiple scenarios.
  • Present trends, opportunities, and challenges to senior management committees, making appropriate recommendations for action.
