The Lead Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in the development and oversight of monthly financial performance reports, crafting and managing budgets across various departments, and producing comprehensive revenue and expenditure reports. The ideal candidate will also gather essential data for external audits and provide accounting support to operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily cash transactions
  • Process weekly credit card expenditures
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Department to ensure timely and accurate month-end financial closing
  • Conduct reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Oversee the management of the Company's fixed asset sub-ledger and related financial reporting
  • Prepare special analyses as requested by the CFO to assist operations and finance
  • Support the CFO, Controller, and Accountant in the preparation of monthly reports for investors and banks
  • Generate weekly key performance indicators by division and region for management review
  • Assist in the annual audit and tax compliance activities
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process enhancements
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support the operational and finance teams
  • Extract and analyze data from proprietary construction and accounting software
  • Produce regular reporting from various software platforms
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • CPA & Master's degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in private or public accounting, or 2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and data analysis (including pivot tables and complex formulas)
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (knowledge of Acumatica is a significant advantage)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Integrity, reliability, initiative, and self-motivation
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment
  • Proactive and hands-on approach to tackling challenges
  • Technologically adept and skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Adept at compiling, interpreting, and summarizing large data sets using Excel
  • Organized, self-driven, and possessing strong communication skills to collaborate with a large accounting team and the operational divisions
  • Ability to take ownership of designated responsibilities with support from the Controller, CFO, and Accountant
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and articulate issues clearly and effectively
