- Collection Note Management: Accurately record and maintain collection notes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Database Management: Utilize a collections database in a Windows-based operating system to manage and track collection activities.
- Performance and Productivity: Maintain company performance and productivity standards, ensuring timely and effective resolution of delinquent accounts.
- Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Customer Service Experience: 1-year Customer Service/Collections experience preferred, but not required.
- Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Technical Skills: 35+ wpm minimum typing speed, and proficiency in a Windows-based operating system.
- Attendance and Goal-Oriented: Excellent attendance, and a goal-oriented mindset.
- Positive Work Environment: A positive and supportive work environment.
