Overview

The Client Relationship Manager plays a crucial role within the commercial division, supporting the Client Partner and acting as the primary owner for designated accounts. This position collaborates with delivery teams to enhance project backlogs, optimize resource allocation, and manage scope alterations to meet client expectations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients on a daily basis.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the client’s environment, challenges, and priorities.
  • Provide innovative insights and connect clients with experts while constructively challenging existing processes to foster innovation.
  • Engage proactively in critical project milestones, foresee the need for intervention, and initiate necessary communications.
  • Lead Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and proactive bids concerning renewals, extensions, and expansions.
  • Monitor industry trends pertinent to client operations and propose proactive ideas and solutions.
  • Identify revenue opportunities through process enhancements, client relationships, and strategic partnerships.
  • Perform various finance, contract management, procurement, and vendor management tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in a client-facing role within a consulting firm or in account/engagement management in the IT professional services or outsourcing sector.
  • Experience managing a client P&L of approximately $5 million, including reporting and metrics evaluation.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong executive presentation capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and oversee all aspects of complex assignments.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with business stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify strategic solutions to business challenges.
  • Flexibility to work across diverse corporate environments, industries, and with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in project environments and application development.

Work Conditions

Occasional travel may be necessary to foster executive relationships, engage with clients and key stakeholders, and participate in industry conferences and events.
