Job Title: Patient Engagement Director

Charter Research is a leading clinical research company seeking a highly motivated and experienced Patient Engagement Director to join our team in Orlando, FL.

Job Summary:

The Patient Engagement Director will lead our site's Patient Engagement Team, responsible for developing and implementing patient engagement initiatives, staff standards, and procedures to increase patient participation in clinical trials and grow the number of screens per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement patient engagement strategies to improve patient recruitment and retention.
  2. Collaborate with the Site Director and clinic team to ensure smooth delivery of high-quality screens to the clinic.
  3. Establish and achieve screening goals aligned with the site's enrolling studies and internal enrollment goals.
  4. Improve organizational systems and processes to increase conversion rates of leads to prescreens, prescreens to screens, and leads to screens.
  5. Plan and lead the execution of community and event marketing, physician partnerships, patient recruitment, and prescreening activities.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with local physicians and community groups to increase access to enriched patient populations.
  7. Provide guidance and coaching to team members to work effectively together as a high-performance team.
  8. Utilize performance metrics to identify areas of low performance and implement process improvements.
  9. Ensure participation of patients from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds to meet diversity goals for enrollment.
  10. Stay up-to-date with the latest patient recruitment strategies and tactics.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  2. CCRC, CCRP, and/or ACRP-CP (or equivalent) professional certification preferred.
  3. At least five (5) years' experience in a management role, with demonstrable results in managing a team, improving processes, and delivering year-over-year quantifiable growth in key metrics.

Working Conditions:

  1. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  2. Prolonged periods of walking, standing, speaking, and moving.
  3. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
