About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Generative AI Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our AI engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying generative AI models that drive business value and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop generative AI models using cutting-edge technologies such as transformers and LLMs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into business applications and solutions
  • Develop and maintain high-quality AI software components and tools
  • Contribute to the development of AI engineering best practices and standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in AI engineering, machine learning, or a related field
  • Experience with generative AI, including transformers and LLMs
  • Experience with software development and AI project work
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of software design patterns and microservices architecture
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with LLMOps, DevOps, or MLOps
  • Experience with embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rust
  • Experience with GPU programming using CUDA or RAPIDs
  • Ability to gather requirements from customers and lead Agile teams

Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 annualized USD.
