This role emphasizes the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, high-performance computing, and the provision of shared analytics and visualization capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forge and nurture relationships while spearheading initiatives related to AI-ready data, AI-enabled data workflows, and Responsible AI practices.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of both on-premises and cloud-based AI solutions aimed at enhancing life sciences research and public health initiatives.
  • Process extensive datasets utilizing AI or machine learning (ML) technologies, applying advanced methodologies and principles to solve complex challenges.
  • Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to foster business growth and maintain robust client partnerships.
  • Mentor and develop a diverse team of data scientists, ML engineers, and domain specialists, ensuring a commitment to diversity and inclusion within the firm.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in architecting and developing cloud solutions that facilitate the deployment of AI models at scale.
  • Expertise in designing and supporting high-performance computing environments, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Solid background in AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Experience in creating architectures that align with FAIR data principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams effectively.
  • Experience in consulting within the health and life sciences sectors, particularly in support of government initiatives.
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading projects focused on the ingestion, processing, and analysis of healthcare data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Knowledge of Large Language Models and their applications.
  • Experience in developing and mentoring personnel across various levels to enhance internal capabilities in delivering innovative analytics services.
  • Proficiency in project and vendor management, alongside strong client relationship skills.
  • Certification as a Solutions Architect from a recognized Cloud Service Provider.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
