Evans Consulting is seeking an Organizational Change Management Specialist to enhance our dynamic team and support a federal client based in Chicago. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in executing change management strategies and initiatives while serving as a liaison for the client. This position will involve close collaboration with stakeholders and project teams to implement change processes, assess performance metrics, and promote continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects ensuring quality control while aligning change initiatives with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Support various dimensions of the change management program, including strategic planning, development of plans, updates, and facilitation of leadership sessions.
  • Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders, providing communication and outreach support for a complex, evolving program.
  • Design and deliver training on Organizational Change Management for employees and leaders to enhance their skills and strengthen the organization’s capacity for change.
  • Contribute to the formulation of change metrics and their implementation while monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators.
  • Act as the primary contact for a network of change agents, leading all aspects of communication between teams, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, and facilitating discussions.
  • Maintain relevant change management logs (e.g., communication, awards, resistance management) and analyze them for necessary actions.
  • Implement strategic direction and execution of change management processes and related activities.
  • Collaborate with communication and training specialists regarding objectives related to change management and program needs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Organizational Change Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or similar; advanced degree preferred).
  • 5 to 10 years of pertinent experience with OCM theories and models such as Prosci ADKAR, Kotter's 8-step Model, or Lewin's Change Management Model.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing OCM assessments and plans.
  • Strong expertise in stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment, adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Capability to manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining organization.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills with a focus on seeing the broader perspective.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in data analysis to evaluate success.
  • Strong strategic development capabilities.

Compensation:

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $98,000 (annualized USD). This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans's total compensation package.
