Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing leadership to highly complex, strategic organizational design (OD) and operating model initiatives and programs for divisions and subdivisions; partnering with large divisions and/or multiple divisions on large-scale organizational redesigns of key strategic significance to the organization; providing consultative oversight to assigned projects which requires partnering with senior leaders in large divisions/or multiple divisions to drive change; contributing significantly to the development, embedment and roll-out of OD methodologies, tools and templates at an enterprise level; evaluating and diagnosing current states; identifying organizational design needs to enable transformation of strategy, structure, roles, and processes; developing future state approaches; facilitating implementation; supporting the execution of organizational design plans; providing feedback to measure the effectiveness of results; and leading, coaching and mentoring other OD team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-divisional, large-scale organizational transformation initiatives
  • Design and implement organizational design programs and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain OD methodologies, tools and templates
  • Evaluate and diagnose current organizational states
  • Identify organizational design needs and develop future state approaches
  • Facilitate implementation and support execution of organizational design plans
  • Provide feedback to measure the effectiveness of results
  • Lead, coach and mentor other OD team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years consulting experience in organizational design, operating model design, process design, process re-engineering, capability mapping and design, project management, or human resources
  • Experience leading cross-divisional, large-scale organizational transformation initiatives
  • Experience in program design, needs assessment, performance measurement and evaluation
  • Project management skills to organize and guide initiatives to achieve goals in a timely manner
  • Experience working collaboratively in a diverse work group
  • Consultative skills and negotiation skills
  • Verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Analytical skills including methodologies and development of tools
  • Leadership/management experience

Preferred Requirements

  • Masters degree
  • Health insurance or healthcare industry experience
