Administrative Assistant II

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant II to join our Human Resources Department at the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our department and contribute to creating a positive and welcoming environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and organize meetings with internal and external stakeholders, review contracts and agreements, and compose and format presentations and correspondence.
- Work closely with internal departments to complete projects and tasks efficiently, review invoices for accuracy, and process check requests for payment.
- Assist with scheduling travel and processing travel reimbursement requests, prepare and route agendas and materials for Board and Committee presentations.
- Respond to requests for information from the public and internal departments, and route to the appropriate staff.
- Serve as the department's records coordinator, ensuring electronic documents are filed appropriately, and assist with compiling information for public records requests.
- Coordinate work orders for repairs, upgrades, and modifications to Authority facilities or equipment, and maintain payment records for contracted services.
- Four years of increasingly responsible office administrative or secretarial experience.
- Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Graduating from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in business, human resource management, or a closely related field.
