Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a motivated individual who is fluent in Hakha/Burmese and possesses a strong commitment to patient advocacy and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct incoming calls to the appropriate Health Center personnel.
  • Take messages as necessary to ensure effective communication.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirm patient registration details.
  • Process patient co-pays and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED is required. Exceptional customer service skills are essential.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a receptionist in a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Fluency in both Hakha/Burmese and English is required.
Preferred Skills
  • Customer service experience: 2 years (preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology: 1 year (preferred)
  • Computer proficiency: 1 year (preferred)
Work Environment

This position is full-time and requires in-person attendance. The work schedule consists of 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with no evening or weekend hours.
