Job Description

The Emerging Talent Programs at Heritage Environmental Services are designed to train and develop high-potential candidates, providing opportunities for career growth and hands-on experience. As a Sales Development Program Representative, you will work alongside managers and leaders, gaining exposure to high-level projects and individualized mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health & Safety is the top priority by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Develop an understanding of the company's operations and build relationships with Emerging Talent Program Representatives through regular meetings, training workshops, and mentor programs.
  • Network with professionals from various disciplines to enhance teamwork, collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Maintain awareness of all Company policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal resources to prepare formal proposals, develop pricing for key opportunities, and learn about treatment technologies and pricing methods.
  • Assist the Customer Experience team in customer-facing or technical roles, answering questions, arranging services, and ensuring safety and compliance policies are met.
  • Assigned as a territory-based Account Representative, understanding the Company's approach to fostering safe, compliant, and profitable growth, and establishing long-term relationships with customers.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on activities, sales volumes, and expenses, managing and controlling sales expenses, and ensuring timely submission of business expenses.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and conventions on behalf of the Company.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field of study (required).
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
  • High-performing recent graduate or expectation to graduate by start date, or qualifying education obtained within the past 2 years of the start date.
  • Prior relevant internship, co-op, or practical experience (required).
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative (required).
