Qualifications and Experience


• A high school diploma or GED is required; a minimum of 4 years of experience in food and beverage management, culinary arts, or a related field is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Budget Development and Management


• Formulates and oversees all financial, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction strategies for the Food and Beverage divisions.


• Ensures a favorable cost management index for kitchen and dining operations.


• Leverages budgets to comprehend financial goals.

Leadership of Food and Beverage Teams


• Directs the Food and Beverage departments (excluding catering sales).


• Supervises and leads staff members.


• Manages daily operations effectively.


• Possesses a thorough understanding of employee roles to perform tasks in their absence.


• Employs strong interpersonal and communication skills to guide, influence, and motivate others; promotes sound financial and business decision-making; exemplifies integrity and leadership.


• Oversees all culinary, dining, beverage, and room service functions.


• Fosters a workplace environment that prioritizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a commitment to service excellence.


• Delivers outstanding customer service to all team members.


• Responds promptly and proactively to employee concerns.


• Cultivates a learning environment focused on ongoing improvement.


• Provides constructive coaching and guidance to team members.


• Encourages mutual trust, respect, and collaboration among staff.


• Ensures employees maintain productivity levels.

• Provides superior customer service.

• Establishes service expectations for all guests, both internal and external.


• Takes ownership of guest complaints or issues until they are resolved or addressed by the appropriate personnel.


• Guarantees that all banquet services meet standards and exceed guest expectations.


• Provides services that enhance customer satisfaction and retention.


• Enhances service quality by assisting individuals in understanding guest needs, offering guidance, feedback, and personalized coaching as necessary.


• Acts as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.


• Manages daily operations, ensuring quality standards and customer expectations are consistently met.

Human Resource Management and Development


• Guides and directs subordinates, including establishing performance standards and monitoring their performance.


• Conducts performance evaluations in a timely manner.


• Advocates for both the Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door policies.


• Identifies developmental needs of team members and provides coaching, mentoring, or assistance to enhance their skills.


• Recognizes educational needs, develops formal training programs, and instructs others.


• Creates an action plan to address areas for improvement and build on strengths based on employee engagement and guest satisfaction feedback.

Additional Duties


• Adheres to all corporate accounting protocols.


• Communicates effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and subordinates through various channels.


• Analyzes data and evaluates outcomes to determine optimal solutions and resolve issues.


• Ensures effective departmental communication and information flow through logs, meetings, and property discussions.
