Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor

The Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the management of designated quick-service restaurant (QSR) locations, collaborating closely with the Operations team. This position is accountable for meeting sales targets, enhancing profitability, ensuring excellent customer service, and increasing market share, all while safeguarding the long-term success and integrity of the organization. The Operations Supervisor will also lead their operational team and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by their superior. This is an exempt role reporting to the Senior Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees daily operations of team members, delegating tasks to guarantee that units are adequately staffed, maintained, and equipped.
  • Ensures a high standard of food quality, prompt service, and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Guarantees that all products are prepared and presented according to brand or company standards.
  • Analyzes financial performance of the units to ensure profitability while balancing guest and team member satisfaction.
  • Utilizes judgment to address complex questions and issues, escalating more intricate matters to senior leadership.
  • Monitors the management team's activities to ensure they are engaged in high-level work consistently.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of all relevant brand standards and procedures to optimize brand and labor relations.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintains quality control records and ensures adherence to quality assurance and loss prevention policies.
  • Implements and enhances systems, policies, and procedures established by Feel Good Brands and its partners.
  • Identifies and manages staffing needs, including hiring, promotions, and terminations.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; a degree in hospitality or restaurant management is preferred; brand certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in high-volume or multi-unit food and beverage operations or related management roles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to engage comfortably with individuals.
  • Proven experience in maintaining strong cost control and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of financial reports and the ability to utilize them effectively.
  • Demonstrated capability to drive profitable growth while enhancing customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership, personnel management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, resolve issues, coach staff, and motivate others.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
