Position Summary:

The Food and Beverage Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of staff in all dining and beverage outlets during their assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily employee schedules and break times.
  • Ensure that customers receive prompt and courteous service.
  • Monitor staff adherence to established service standards.
  • Welcome and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Supervise the dining service operations throughout the shift.
  • Ensure that beverage service areas are opened and closed efficiently and punctually.
  • Verify that all employees are punctual, in proper attire, and following service protocols, addressing any issues as they arise.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Oversee inventory requisition and control.
  • Evaluate employee performance to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; assist in performance reviews and corrective actions as necessary.
  • Coordinate cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage areas.
  • Perform related administrative tasks and reporting duties.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field or one (1) year of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required licenses and/or certifications.
