Production Area Manager

Parker Hannifin, a leading manufacturer of motion and control technologies, is seeking a highly skilled Production Area Manager to oversee the daily operations of a production area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct the work activity of Leads in assigned areas, distributing workload effectively and motivating subordinates to achieve optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and eliminate waste in assigned departments, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety policies.
  • Lead and support a High Performance Team culture, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and emphasizing the importance of quality and safety.
  • Perform capacity analysis, determine staffing requirements, and ensure departmental productivity targets are met, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and deploy standard work and work instructions, ensuring process stability and promoting compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 2-3 years of previous supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, proficient computer skills, and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively work with people in a team environment and at various levels of the organization, promoting collaboration and open communication.
