KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will lead projects of varying complexities, manage resources effectively, and ensure alignment with both financial and technical goals. Your focus will be on overseeing intricate projects, emphasizing technical expertise, leadership development, and efficient resource management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing multiple multidisciplinary projects while nurturing client relationships.
  • Managing large-scale projects with appropriate oversight.
  • Ensuring structural design integrity and meticulous detailing in accordance with design objectives.
  • Implementing QA/QC processes across all projects, serving as a resource for quality assurance within your area of expertise.
  • Maintaining accuracy and timeliness in project scheduling, supporting team members in meeting deadlines.
  • Achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) for managed projects and assisting team members in their KPI objectives.
  • Preparing project proposals.
  • Supervising staff performance and fostering employee development.
  • Contributing to strategic planning and execution for the business line.
  • Executing the sales strategy for the business line.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Bentley software is essential.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a minimum of 12 years of relevant civil design experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Texas is required.

EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in project leadership, particularly in commercial, educational, and healthcare sectors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in technical drawings.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrated fiscal responsibility and understanding of market dynamics related to fees, scope, and scheduling.
  • Strong presentation skills and client engagement capabilities.
