Job Overview
We are in search of a Certified Structural Engineer with expertise in building design to join our team at CultivaHR LLC. Our firm is dedicated to addressing the affordable housing challenge across the nation by innovating construction practices with exceptional quality. We measure our success through the feasibility of our designs, achieved via meticulously coordinated Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a thorough quality assurance strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee detailed structural design efforts, including elements and systems for various building materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry, along with related engineering calculations.
  • Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers, fostering their professional development.
  • Ensure adherence to design standards and quality control protocols, guaranteeing compliance with applicable codes at all levels.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of our Learning Management System by developing design standards and technical documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, enhancing our service delivery.
Additional Responsibilities for Candidates in Specific Locations
  • Collaborate with sales teams to formulate proposals in response to client requests.
  • Engage with clients to assess their design requirements and future needs.
  • Manage local design teams in conjunction with our leadership structure.
  • Participate in industry events to elevate the visibility of our services.
  • Contribute articles and designs for publication in relevant industry journals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineering (PE) or Structural Engineering (SE) license.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in structural design across various building materials.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and structural analysis software such as ETABS and RAM.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry codes, including ASCE standards, IBC, ACI codes, and AISC standards.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with modular construction techniques.
  • Ability to lead a project team effectively.
  • Experience in reviewing submittals and managing construction administration inquiries.
