Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to deliver comprehensive pre- and post-sales support, which includes conducting discovery meetings, site assessments, proposal development, and technical presentations.
  • Manage and deploy Windows Servers along with Active Directory.
  • Design and implement Local Area Networks (LANs).
  • Oversee network security measures and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Optimize and maintain both software and hardware components of the network.
  • Build and deploy file servers and cloud-based solutions.
  • Configure and implement VOIP systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for network infrastructure issues.
  • Administer Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Provide telephone system solutions.
  • Monitor alert systems and respond according to established protocols.
  • Utilize event logs to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Handle escalated service requests requiring advanced technical responses.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new users.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange server, and Active Directory.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a client-facing role, such as sales engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients to understand their business and technology-related challenges.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience in drafting proposals and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a collaborative team player.
  • In-depth understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • Familiarity with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, outstanding customer service skills, and strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Sales training experience is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory)

  • CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
  • MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certifications.
  • CCNA or CCIE-Cisco certifications are highly desirable.
