Position: Senior Project Manager - Market Innovations

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Extension or Permanent Hire)

Position Overview:

The Senior Project Manager will be integral to a central Program Management Team responsible for the effective delivery of project outcomes across various initiatives while providing expert knowledge and insights.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive project management experience and the necessary expertise to deliver practical and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Program Initiative leaders in executing strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate working groups and workshops to gather business requirements, develop project timelines, and manage deliverables.
  • Provide expert guidance and constructive feedback on business initiatives to ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Ensure that all proposed tools, processes, and controls are effectively communicated and approved by the relevant governance bodies.
  • Oversee internal and external dependencies, collaborating closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, and Technology teams.
  • Identify potential challenges and proactively address or escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with senior stakeholders to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Create comprehensive project update materials tailored for various forums and committees.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships to facilitate program execution.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in managing strategic projects and delivering complex solutions.
  • Possess significant experience in Finance Transformation, showcasing successful execution of deliverables.
  • Expertise in scoping, developing, and prioritizing strategic initiatives.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Understand mechanisms for tracking and reporting performance effectively.
  • Drive change across business practices through effective collaboration within a global organization.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels to provide thought leadership in target state design.
  • Showcase strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience managing projects related to regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.

Compensation: $80 - $90/hour on W2

The specific compensation for this role will be influenced by various factors, including the complexity of the position, market conditions, and the candidate's qualifications and experience. Full-time consultants are eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401K contributions, along with other mandated benefits.
