Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly skilled Commercial Project Manager to oversee some of our most significant projects. This permanent role demands extensive knowledge of the construction industry and a solid background in managing commercial projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful history of handling complex projects, focusing on budgeting, contract negotiations, team leadership, cost management, procurement, and estimating.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Create detailed project plans, collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
3. Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
4. Develop and oversee project budgets, implementing cost control measures to maintain profitability.
5. Provide guidance and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
6. Supervise procurement processes, ensuring timely acquisition of materials and services within budget constraints.
7. Prepare comprehensive project estimates and proposals for clients and stakeholders.
8. Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions to address them.
9. Maintain accurate documentation of all project activities and milestones.
10. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. At least 3 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
3. Proven skills in budgeting, contract negotiation, team leadership, cost management, procurement, and estimating.
4. Strong leadership capabilities with a history of managing successful teams.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Proficient in project management software and tools.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for anticipating and mitigating project risks.
8. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
9. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in project delivery.
10. Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
