Marcus & Millichap is seeking a skilled and results-oriented Sales Recruitment Manager to enhance our recruitment efforts in the commercial real estate sector. This role encompasses both coaching and management responsibilities aimed at attracting and securing top-tier talent, established teams, and firms across the U.S. and Canada. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding our experienced agent workforce through strategic outreach initiatives.

We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in recruiting commission-based sales professionals, strong leadership capabilities, and a dedication to providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with hiring managers and senior leadership to align on hiring needs and priorities.
  • Offer continuous education and support to sales recruiters to improve their skills in candidate evaluation, negotiation, and relationship building.
  • Utilize market intelligence to create strategies for identifying potential acquisition opportunities and building a candidate pool.
  • Engage with experienced agents or established teams to present our firm and available opportunities.
  • Evaluate candidates' qualifications, historical performance, and cultural fit within our organization.
  • Foster strong relationships with candidates and maintain effective communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Oversee the sales recruiting team to manage the candidate pipeline in the applicant tracking system, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process with hiring managers to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions relevant to commercial real estate recruitment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales recruitment, preferably with a focus on direct sourcing for commission-based roles.
  • Experience managing a distributed sales recruiting team is essential.
  • Proficient in managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, including employer branding and candidate engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to source and screen passive candidates through various channels.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with passive candidates.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and follow-through.
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in commercial real estate is advantageous.
