Marcus & Millichap is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Sales Recruiting Manager to enhance our recruitment efforts in the commercial real estate sector across the U.S. and Canada. This role combines coaching and managerial responsibilities aimed at attracting and securing top-tier talent, including established teams and individuals.

The selected candidate will be instrumental in expanding our experienced agent workforce through strategic outreach initiatives. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in recruiting commission-based sales professionals, strong leadership capabilities, and a dedication to providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop trusted relationships with hiring managers and senior leadership to align on recruitment needs and priorities.
  • Offer continuous education and support to sales recruiters, enhancing their skills in candidate evaluation, negotiation, and relationship building.
  • Utilize market insights to create strategies for identifying potential candidates and expanding the talent pool.
  • Engage with experienced agents and established teams to present opportunities within our firm.
  • Evaluate candidates' qualifications and compatibility with our organizational culture.
  • Maintain strong communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Oversee the sales recruiting team, managing the candidate pipeline and keeping stakeholders informed on recruitment progress.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes with hiring managers to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities related to commercial real estate recruitment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales recruiting, particularly in direct sourcing for commission-based roles.
  • Experience managing a distributed sales recruiting team is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the recruitment lifecycle, including employer branding and candidate engagement.
  • Proficient in sourcing and screening passive candidates through various channels.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build relationships with passive candidates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in commercial real estate is advantageous.
