Position Summary

The Financial Analysis and Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive preparation and evaluation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. This includes the consolidation of financial statements, the elimination of intercompany accounts and transactions, and the preparation of related reports for distribution to executive and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct in-depth financial data analysis, including rollforwards, fluctuation analyses, reconciliations, and providing audit support.
  • Prepare and submit governmental financial reports as required.
  • Maintain and enhance financial system tools, including a dedicated TM1 database for calculating Credit Facility maintenance covenants; prepare quarterly reports for the bank consortium and analyze projected covenant compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve technical accounting issues as they arise.
  • Compile benefit plan financial statements.
  • Lead special projects related to general accounting, finance, reporting, and strategic planning.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as accounting or finance.

Role Dimensions

This position does not include direct reports; however, it requires collaboration with approximately 100 accountants globally to gather necessary data for financial statements.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The role demands the ability to complete tasks under tight deadlines, with flexibility to work extended hours when necessary. Expect increased workload during quarter and year-end closing periods, which may require overtime. Special projects may also necessitate additional hours and occasional travel, depending on project scope.
