Are you passionate about leading the development of innovative hardware and software solutions that transform autonomy in building systems?

Your Role:

As a Technical Engineering Program Manager at PassiveLogic, you will play a pivotal role in guiding engineering teams by establishing and managing product roadmaps.

You will offer strategic direction on projects and priorities, ensuring a balance between long-term objectives and immediate product launches.

Your technical expertise will enable you to eliminate obstacles and address knowledge gaps within the teams you support, guaranteeing that the products you oversee deliver exceptional value to clients and meet deadlines.

Collaboration is key; you will work closely with UI/UX, front-end, back-end, sales, and customer success teams to outline workflows that facilitate customer releases.

You will partner with project managers to ensure that the work plan aligns with the technical roadmap.

Your enthusiasm for outstanding user experience design will influence the product roadmap, driving the creation of products that set new standards for autonomy in the built environment.


Key Responsibilities:


• Lead the roadmap for your product areas and define the engineering workflows for the development teams.
• Initiate every engineering project with design; collaborate with UI/UX and engineering teams to produce well-documented product designs.
• Ensure adherence to design fidelity in the products developed by the team.
• Approach challenges with accountability, a proactive mindset, and a data-driven decision-making process in uncertain situations.
• Prioritize and deliver product outcomes, ensuring alignment with design specifications and timelines.
• Communicate plans, progress, objectives, and challenges to stakeholders, creating reports that facilitate informed decision-making.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on emerging product trends in software tools and assess new technological capabilities for potential integration.

Qualifications:


• A technical or engineering background, including a BS/MS/PhD or equivalent degree in a highly technical field (excluding programming/software bootcamps).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project, product, or program management.
• Proficiency in various project and program management methodologies, with an understanding of when to apply each approach (waterfall, agile, Kanban, etc.).
• A genuine passion for documentation, along with the ability to write clear, actionable user stories and test cases.
• A dynamic, outgoing personality; as a leader, you are dedicated to sharing knowledge, enhancing team skills, and empowering others to excel.
• Strong communication skills to articulate the rationale behind design decisions, enabling team members to grasp both overarching concepts and specific implementation details.
• A commitment to establishing yourself as an innovative leader and product advocate within a groundbreaking product ecosystem.
• The ability to communicate nuanced ideas, recognizing that expressed desires may differ from actual needs.
• A strong alignment with leadership throughout the development process.
