Role Purpose

The Senior Content Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with the Senior Communications Manager and the Marketing Communications team to design and implement effective communication strategies for both internal and external audiences. This position serves as the primary marketing liaison for Family Services, Partnerships, and Advocacy teams, ensuring alignment of strategies, deliverables, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop strategic marketing content that supports Family Services, Partnerships, and Donor objectives.
  • Formulate and execute an organic social media strategy, coordinating with internal teams for necessary posts.
  • Work alongside the Marketing Manager to implement paid social media initiatives across various platforms.
  • Oversee incoming marketing project requests related to Family Services, Advocacy, and Partnerships.
  • Analyze and report on content performance metrics to the Marketing Communications team and leadership.
  • Manage the collection of digital assets for partner recognition and execute related social media posts.
  • Ensure proper organization of digital assets within the management system.
  • Lead community engagement on social media platforms.
  • Assist in creating content for ReStore, including images and videos as needed.
Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, social media, or content creation

• Proficient in digital marketing analytics, social media management, and email marketing tools

• Strong initiative, prioritization, time management, and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent project management skills with a keen attention to detail

• Highly organized and focused on meeting deadlines

• Photography and videography skills are highly desirable

Work Environment

This role primarily involves working indoors in an office environment, with occasional travel between locations in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in an office setting, requiring verbal communication, hearing, and manual dexterity for handling documents and technology

• Capacity to maintain prolonged use of a personal computer or similar devices, including phone communication

• Must provide personal transportation for local events and assignments
