Lead Marketing Strategist

At Catapult Employers Association, we are in search of a Lead Marketing Strategist who will develop engaging marketing materials and proposals that enhance our business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the A/E/C sector and have a proven track record in various marketing disciplines, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media management. The marketing strategist must excel in multitasking, effectively managing numerous diverse projects concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in crafting and executing the organization's brand strategy.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities align with both immediate and long-term business objectives by identifying and implementing enhancements for processes, content, and lead generation.
  • Support the creation and upkeep of company websites and social media platforms.
  • Foster and maintain engagement with professional and community organizations.
  • Serve as the marketing liaison for new project initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business development and operations teams to generate high-quality proposals, qualifications packages, and presentation materials.
  • Oversee proposal content for compliance and quality assurance prior to final review by the Marketing Manager.
  • Develop and maintain a repository of marketing content, reusable assets, and templates to optimize the proposal development workflow.
  • Update and manage project and personnel information within the CRM database.
  • Ensure team resumes are current and accurately reflect all experience and qualifications.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior marketing personnel.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities based on individual strengths, interests, and organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a marketing or related capacity.
  • At least 2 years of experience in proposal development within the A/E/C sector is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in proofreading and grammar.
  • Outstanding time management abilities, with a focus on driving proposal deadlines and tracking progress against benchmarks.
  • Demonstrated creativity in utilizing graphics (such as images, graphs, charts, etc.) to enhance written communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
