Key Responsibilities

  • Propel sales growth within the designated region to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Deliver training in sales techniques to Account Managers.
  • Conduct onboarding training for new Account Managers.
  • Assist Account Managers in managing project opportunities.
  • Provide product knowledge and promotional training to Account Managers, ensuring they have the necessary materials for customer engagement.
  • Formulate and execute sales, marketing, and operational strategies to bolster Snap-on's market presence.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key accounts.
  • Schedule and lead regular meetings with Account Managers to offer guidance and support.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate compliance standards.
  • Complete all necessary reporting, including expense reports and documentation of customer interactions as directed by management.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales within the industrial tool sector, particularly in manufacturing or assembly.
  • A proven track record of 3-5 years in leading and managing a remote sales team is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals and fostering customer growth.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills are required.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with a history of successfully completing large projects on schedule.
  • Comfort in engaging with individuals at all organizational levels; familiarity with Snap-on products is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with various databases and sales systems is a plus.
  • Must possess and maintain all necessary credentials, including a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as well as the ability to obtain appropriate auto insurance.
  • Physical requirements apply, and overnight travel will be necessary.
