About the Role:

Sysco is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and improving our market position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales growth and revenue targets.
  • Work closely with regional sales leaders to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted sales plans.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, and distributors to drive sales growth and increase market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted sales plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure Sysco remains competitive and innovative.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a business-to-business sales environment, with a proven track record of new business development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze reports and derive insights from data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and influence a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
