About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Dire Wolf Tavern. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Kitchen Operations: Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage Kitchen Staff: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service.
  • Control Food Costs: Develop and implement strategies to minimize food waste and optimize inventory management.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and meets health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team: Work closely with the management team to develop and implement menu changes, promotions, and other initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 Years of Kitchen Management Experience: Proven track record of leading kitchen teams and managing food costs.
  • Excellent Food Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ingredients, preparation techniques, and menu planning.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication with kitchen staff, management, and guests.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
