Job Overview

Roofing Advisor
As a Roofing Advisor, you will leverage advanced drone technology alongside traditional inspection methods to assess roof conditions and provide homeowners with expert guidance on necessary repairs or replacements. In cases where an insurance claim is pursued, you will assist clients throughout the claims process until a resolution is achieved. If insurance options are unavailable, you will present various retail purchase and financing solutions to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging in-person sales presentations in line with company standards.
  • Accurately document all sales activities in the CRM system on a daily basis.
  • Maintain an organized calendar, ensuring punctuality for appointments and responsiveness to clients and colleagues.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, staying informed about sales strategies, products, and industry developments.
  • Build and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
  • Provide training and mentorship to fellow sales representatives.
  • Address escalated customer service inquiries effectively.
  • Achieve or surpass established sales goals.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of sales experience in the roofing sector (insurance and retail).
  • Strong communication skills with a positive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel; must possess a valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Proven ability to overcome objections and perform within a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Professional presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Physical capability to navigate various terrains, including climbing ladders and roofs.
  • Customer service-focused approach.
  • Team player, contributing to a collaborative sales environment.
  • Familiarity with tablets and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; roofing installation certification preferred.
  • Goal-oriented and reliable.
