Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated General Labor (Secondary Operator) to contribute to our production team. The role of the Secondary Operator is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
To excel in this position, the individual must effectively perform the following duties:
1. Utilize company systems to execute various tasks.
2. Manage the startup and shutdown processes of machinery and equipment.
3. Operate a variety of machines and equipment.
4. Identify and report material defects.
5. Follow work instructions for tasks such as receiving raw materials and packaging products.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve staged issues.
7. Employ measuring devices and fixtures accurately.
8. Assist in the setup process of equipment.
9. Maintain accuracy in Work In Progress (WIP) inventory.
10. Conduct safety and quality checks using provided checklists.
11. Support material changes and transfer components to work centers.
12. Perform final quality control checks on products.
13. Ensure cleanliness of the work area according to 5S standards.
Compliance with all company policies and guidelines is essential, including adherence to the Team Member Handbook and Safety Handbook. The ability to work overtime as needed is also required.
