Overview:

The Research Scientist II will play a pivotal role in our Quality Management Systems Program, focusing on the development of high-quality documentation to support regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage in daily technical documentation tasks, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and high throughput.
  2. Proofread, prepare, create, review, edit, and update various Quality and Technical Documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Design Control Documentation, Technical Reports, and Risk Management Documentation.
  3. Maintain awareness of quality implications stemming from product performance issues and potential device defects in the areas of design, verification, validation, manufacturing, and testing.
  4. Oversee small teams, providing guidance and assistance in problem-solving activities.
  5. Exhibit technical proficiency in general laboratory techniques and conduct diverse experiments supporting on-market products.
  6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, researchers, and technicians.
  7. Analyze experimental data and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  8. Demonstrate professional conduct in interactions with internal and external business associates, fostering productive relationships.
  9. Adhere to established business policies while adapting to the evolving industry landscape.
  10. Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  2. A minimum of 5+ years in progressively responsible roles within a research development environment, with experience in laboratory and technical writing under design control.
  3. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team, complemented by strong communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities alongside analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  5. Experience managing the end-to-end documentation creation process.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  7. Ability to generate quality documentation efficiently to meet program timelines.
