Job Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing and expanding a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, identifying their specific needs, and offering customized insurance solutions.
  • Working collaboratively with underwriters and brokers to negotiate favorable policy terms, rates, and coverage options.
  • Reviewing insurance documents for accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies or concerns.
  • Delivering prompt and friendly customer service, including handling inquiries, processing policy modifications, and resolving claims or billing matters.
  • Keeping abreast of industry developments, regulations, and product offerings to provide informed guidance to clients.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development and training to enhance your expertise in the insurance sector.

Qualifications:
To qualify for the Commercial Lines Account Manager position, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, ideally in an account management or client service capacity.
  • A solid understanding of commercial insurance products, terminology, and coverage options.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities, with a focus on building and maintaining robust client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex insurance concepts to clients effectively.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities, adept at collaborating with underwriters and brokers to secure optimal terms for clients.
  • Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach, with the ability to swiftly resolve client issues.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional growth and learning within the insurance field.
  • A valid insurance license, or the ability to obtain one within a designated timeframe.
