Banking Relationship Manager

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an exceptional Banking Relationship Manager to join our team in Manhattan Beach. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch service by addressing customers' financial needs efficiently, professionally, and in a friendly manner. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and tailor solutions that meet their needs.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and circumstances. Main Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing financial needs, opening new accounts, conducting needs assessments, and servicing transactions.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to increase deposit and loan growth.
- Sales and Marketing: Cross-sell Bank's products and services, strive to meet or exceed sales goals, and participate in promotional activities to enhance the customer experience.
- Operations: Process all types of new account transactions, manage vault settlements, ATM settlements, night drop deposits, and assist with branch opening/closing procedures as necessary.
- Compliance: Adhere to regulatory requirements, including Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and other relevant laws and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of retail banking experience in a financial services industry; 1 year experience explaining credit products and accepting/closing loan applications.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of bank deposits, lending products, credit products, and services; intermediate math skills; relationship building, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Personal Qualities: Professionalism, helpfulness, and positive attitude; ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues; flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and circumstances.
