About the Role

The Visual Lead at Alo is a key member of our store operations team, responsible for driving sales and maximizing profitability through effective visual merchandising strategies.

As a seasoned leader, you will work closely with our Visual Manager to initiate, delegate, and provide feedback to the team to achieve optimal results in store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the execution of key operational functions, including shipment, receiving, and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
  2. Maintain strategic product presentation and merchandising by ensuring product recovery, restock, destock, and making visual merchandising changes in accordance with directives and in partnership with the Visual Manager.
  3. Effectively plan visual floor changes with the management team through payroll management and adapting the zone and visual support to the needs of the business.
  4. Execute and maintain visual direction from planning through execution to meeting company expectations, budgets, and timelines.
  5. Utilize reporting tools in partnership with management to identify business opportunities with product placement, outfitting, and stock levels, making changes as necessary.

Business Acumen and Leadership

  1. Partner with Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure maintained and maximized performance.
  2. Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business-driving strategies.
  3. Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.

People Development and Collaboration

  1. Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience.
  2. Partner with management to provide coaching, guidance, and direction to Associates; responsible for recruitment and development of talent.
  3. Use company performance tools to evaluate each operations associate and provide constant feedback to drive individual growth and improvement in partnership with the store leader.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. 2+ years of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
  2. Proven leadership capabilities demonstrating excellent decision-making.
  3. Values feedback, receptive to receiving feedback, and eager to provide.
  4. High energy, upbeat, and enthusiastic with the ability to integrate fun and work.
  5. Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  7. Aligns with and embodies Alo's guiding principles.

Location

The Visual Lead is a full-time role requiring 32-40 hours per week, with variable shifts including peak days and weekends. All employees are expected to be able to work during the company's Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season.
