Job Overview

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist / Control Systems Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Rockwell/Allen Bradley ControlLogix and other industry-standard technologies.
  • Program and integrate automation equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and VFDs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
  • Travel to client sites for installation, modification, and debugging of software.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to ensure the successful operation of integrated electro-mechanical systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in controls ladder logic programming and automation system design.
  • Strong knowledge of Rockwell/Allen Bradley ControlLogix and other industry-standard automation technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide technical leadership.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Fanuc Robot programming and Fanuc 18i or 3xi Series CNC Controls.
  • Knowledge of Siemens, DeltaV, GE Fanuc, Factory Talk, Wonderware Intouch, Modicon, and Schneider Electric automation technologies.
  • Experience with material handling, conveyors, sawmill/planer mill equipment, semiconductor, water/wastewater, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, aerospace, food & beverage, and manufacturing industries.
