Job Overview:

The Automation Solutions Specialist at Multivac USA Inc. plays a crucial role in delivering customized solutions to meet client packaging automation requirements while driving sales growth among both current and prospective customers. This position requires collaboration with the Multivac Automations Group and external suppliers to enhance packaging functionalities while managing commercial risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and develop comprehensive offerings from the Multivac Automations Group and third-party vendors to support the sale of robotic systems and packaging solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management teams to ensure the successful acceptance and payment processes for automated lines and equipment.
  • Provide training to Regional Sales Managers on the sales of robotic systems and custom automation solutions, working together to design and propose automation systems for key projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers, negotiate contractual terms, and secure non-disclosure agreements to enhance Multivac's product offerings.
  • Engage in trade shows and company events, working alongside internal teams to meet automation revenue targets.
  • Ensure that adequate resources are allocated to projects while adhering to an annual budget for expenses.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with at least five years of experience in developing and managing automated systems projects. Strong communication abilities, financial insight, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software are essential for success in this role.

Work Environment: This position may involve exposure to moving mechanical components and varying environmental conditions. Physical requirements include the occasional lifting and movement of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
