Job Overview

Position: Inventory Shift Supervisor

The Inventory Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing quality assurance, managing products in and out of the Vault, and supporting the Inventory Specialist team with the reception of wholesale shipments.

Reporting Structure:

  • Directly reports to the General Manager, Inventory Supervisor, and Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations and procedures related to transportation, tracking, and inventory documentation.
  • Securely manage the return of Marijuana Infused products from customer returns and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  • Deliver operational excellence by maintaining smooth daily operations in inventory management and flow.
  • Adhere to Redi's Policies & Procedures while fully complying with state marijuana regulations.
  • Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
  • Collaborate with Inventory leads to assist in training new team members.
  • Oversee discrepancy reporting in Leaflogix and maintain accurate records in our SOP sharefile inventory system to prevent losses.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of products and strains available in the store, along with broader industry product knowledge.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Manage the Fulfillment (Pack) Room, including organizing order tickets, assisting with order fulfillment, and restocking low inventory items.
  • Coordinate and receive wholesale deliveries effectively.
  • Facilitate electronic transportation manifests using METRC, ensuring all received packages are accompanied by necessary tests, lab results, and required labels.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring a diverse product assortment, and communicate inventory needs with the Inventory Control Manager.
  • Accurately count, weigh, label, and record all Marijuana Infused products upon accepting wholesale deliveries.
  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory transport manifests during the delivery of cannabis products, making necessary corrections before the delivery driver departs.
  • Maintain appropriate proportions between medical and recreational inventory.
  • Conduct monthly inventory reviews and annual comprehensive inventories of medical marijuana, maintaining written or electronic records of findings and employee identification.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in dispensary operations, customer service, retail, or related fields.
  • Proficient in computer and technical skills, including experience with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing.
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and mathematical skills.
  • Comfortable with cash handling and performing calculations involving fractions and decimals.
  • Previous experience with METRC and LeafLogix is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly perform desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequent sitting and standing.
  • Occasionally required to stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, and lift/carry/push/pull objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
