Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Embedded Firmware Developer to create, implement, and sustain firmware for our innovative consumer electronic devices. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in C/C++, RTOS, ARM architectures, and interfacing with various peripherals including Wi-Fi, BLE, I2C, GPIO, ADC, and PWM. Familiarity with Embedded Development Tools, the Atlassian Suite, and Agile methodologies will be crucial for thriving in our dynamic development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance embedded firmware for consumer electronic products utilizing C/C++.
  • Develop and implement device drivers and firmware for Wi-Fi, BLE, I2C, GPIO, ADC, and PWM peripherals.
  • Leverage RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems) for effective task scheduling and real-time performance management.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware components and systems.
  • Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, encompassing planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Employ Agile methodologies to manage development tasks and guarantee timely feature delivery.
  • Utilize the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) for project management, documentation, and version control.
  • Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and validation of firmware on both prototype and production hardware.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in embedded firmware development with strong command of C/C++.
  • Hands-on experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, VxWorks).
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with Wi-Fi, BLE, I2C, GPIO, Serial, ADC, and PWM peripherals.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in developing consumer electronic products or similar domains.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication protocols and low-power design principles.
  • Experience with Agile development practices and tools.
  • Understanding of system-level and application-level testing strategies.
