Position Available: HVAC Design Engineer

As an HVAC Design Engineer, you will collaborate closely with a Senior Engineer at our offices. Your responsibilities will encompass creating engineering design concepts for HVAC systems across multiple project categories, including Corporate, Science & Technology, Healthcare, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical and HVAC systems, including layout devices
  • Conduct calculations for heating and cooling loads
  • Prepare engineering studies and evaluate system performance
  • Research equipment selection and adhere to building code requirements
  • Contribute to team initiatives and propose enhancements
  • Participate in client meetings and conduct site assessments

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical training
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in HVAC design
  • Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with mechanical system design
  • Knowledge of building codes and mechanical principles
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering schematics
  • Strong analytical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in an engineering setting
  • Engineer-in-training certification
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Suite
