Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in comprehensive Digital Modeling of various Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems across current and future platforms.
  • Conduct simulations of target environments, playing a vital role in integrating hybrid Digital Modeling into EW System hardware to achieve significant cost and schedule efficiencies from concept through deployment.
  • Participate in software development for integration and testing, encompassing requirements development and system architecture.
  • Support program technical interchange meetings and integration/testing sessions, while establishing priorities for RF Test Software development.
  • Travel may be required to assist with customer integration of testing tools.
  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation, while evaluating alternatives based on cost, risk, and supportability analyses for comprehensive systems.
  • Ensure the logical and systematic transformation of product requirements into total systems solutions, translating customer needs into hardware/software specifications.

Work Environment

This position requires full-time onsite work at a BAE Systems facility, emphasizing the importance of consistent in-person collaboration due to the nature of the role.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of:
    • 6 years of experience with a BS
    • 4 years with an MS
    • 2 years with a PhD
  • 5 years of experience with C/C++/C#
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux Development Environments
  • Experience in Containerized Software Code Deployment
  • Background in Embedded Software Development
  • Proficiency with Version Control, Configuration Management, and Issue Tracking tools (e.g., Bitbucket, GitLab, GitHub, Jira)
  • Experience in developing Electronic Warfare, RADAR, Communications, Kinematics, and/or Missile Systems
  • Preferred: Active US Government security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AFSIM Mission Model
  • Proficiency in MATLAB
  • Familiarity with testing equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Phase Network Analyzers, and Power Meters
  • Ability to demonstrate RF concepts, including antenna patterns, environmental effects, radar range, frequency, spur, and harmonics
