Senior Marine Engineer Overview
We are in search of a highly qualified Senior Marine Engineer to enhance our capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct marine engineering initiatives, encompassing feasibility assessments, conceptual and detailed design, procurement, construction supervision, and project commissioning.
- Formulate and evaluate technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and documentation related to marine infrastructures, including ports, harbors, coastal defense projects, and offshore facilities.
- Conduct site evaluations and surveys to analyze existing conditions, identify project limitations, and propose effective engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and contractors, to incorporate marine engineering elements into broader infrastructure developments.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations that govern marine engineering practices and environmental considerations.
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical personnel, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and professional growth.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Naval Architecture & Maritime Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience, with 5-10 years specifically in Naval Architecture and Design.
- Familiarity with industry-standard design and analysis software is advantageous (e.g., AutoCAD, Staad.Pro, ANSYS, etc.).
