Working Hours:
7:30 A.M to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Saturdays as needed.

Position Overview:

Provide exceptional service to customers by assisting with parts sales in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner through various communication channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions at the counter. This role involves discussing promotions and alternative solutions to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Researching part numbers using equipment parts manuals or online databases to assist customers effectively.
  • Facilitating customer transactions at the parts counter.
  • Recommending additional related components during the ordering process.
  • Completing necessary documentation and performing data entry tasks.
  • Supporting Product Support Representatives, Inside Sales Representatives, and Sales Representatives with parts orders.
  • Engaging in all available training programs to enhance skills.
  • Performing other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated individual with strong time management, planning, and organizational abilities, demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Military and veterans are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience in parts counter or heavy equipment dealership is advantageous.
  • Positive demeanor and excellent customer service capabilities are essential.
  • Proficient computer skills, familiar with software such as UPS Worldship, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills (written, email, and verbal) are required.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving money, weight, volume, and distance.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required, with specific criteria regarding violations.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

This role involves working in both office and warehouse settings. Responsibilities may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, answering phone calls, and using a keyboard for email communication. The position also requires walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds regularly. Safety equipment such as safety glasses and steel-toed footwear is mandatory. The office environment typically has a low noise level, while the warehouse may have varying noise levels. Flexibility during peak seasons and the ability to work overtime may be necessary. Occasional local travel could be required. The physical demands outlined are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
