Job Summary

The County Market Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the deli kitchen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food products to customers while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Maximize gross margins and sales through effective inventory management and ordering procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure consistent good quality and taste of food products.
    • Monitor and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of associates to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance associate knowledge and skills.
  • Customer Service
    • Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring prompt and courteous service to customers.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; one to two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Basic math concepts and ability to manage inventory and ordering procedures.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Manager Food Handlers Certificate provided at store level.
Work Environment

The County Market Kitchen Manager will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to extreme heat, wet and/or humid conditions, and chemicals while cleaning.
