Job Summary

The Full-Time LG Home Entertainment Area Sales Manager is a non-exempt role that specializes in Training and Brand Advocacy, Assisted Sales, and Visual Presence.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player excited to learn and grow as a member of the MarketSource team.

The Sales Representative must have the ability to create and present quality sales demonstrations to consumers for increased sales results, in addition to accurate execution of visual presence objectives as directed by our clients.

Essential Functions
  1. Expected to consistently attain or exceed monthly quota
  2. Communicates with Leadership within the Program on status of qualified opportunities
  3. Conducts on-site data gathering to design and/or explain products and solutions
  4. Extrapolates pertinent information from all data gathering sessions to formulate and engineer the best available solution for the customer's needs
  5. Presents solutions and designs directly to end-user customers
  6. Provides product demonstrations, when required, to facilitate closing business
  7. Travels within territory to assigned stores
  8. Develops and facilitates product education and training sessions for the client's sales channels at regularly-scheduled intervals
  9. Interacts regularly with client at many levels for the purpose of training and education, funnel management, sales, and lead generation
  10. Collaborates on a regular basis with client/partners regarding the latest information on promotions, incentives, performance, and upcoming education/sales opportunities
  11. Remains abreast of and communicates territory performance metrics, including lead generation and revenue attainment
  12. Proactively participates in regular training sessions provided to become and maintain your position as a subject matter expert in the product portfolio you support
  13. Attends client training events within the territory, when appropriate, to supplement any program-related training
  14. Maintains fiscal control within company-regulated budget guidelines
  15. Supports the Program Leadership on special projects and related tasks when needed
  16. The Sales Rep is expected to foster and maintain effective relationships with client field leadership, vendor field leadership, and associates within their designated region
  17. Must possess the ability to work with a high level of autonomy, a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic who can excel with limited supervision and/or instruction
Minimum Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred

1-2 years minimum experience selling industry-related solutions to end-users and customer-facing retail sales

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills
  1. Confidence engaging customers in a national retail environment
  2. Good technical knowledge and experience with consumer electronics and other consumer-based products
  3. Must be using a web-enabled device (smartphone or tablet) with iOS or Android 2.2 (or higher) with an active data plan
  4. Proven track record of being successful at attaining sales objectives
  5. Technically savvy and computer proficient
  6. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  7. Access to internet for email correspondence and report submissions
  8. Must have the willingness and ability to build relationships at the retail store level on behalf of both MarketSource and our client
  9. Professional image and approach to business
  10. Friendly demeanor, easy to approach, energetic, goal-oriented
  11. Group training, demonstrating, or presentation experience
  12. Retail sales or retail management is a plus
  13. Quick learner who is self-motivated
  14. Ability to self-train on client product(s)
  15. Possess a high degree of initiative, exercises judgment, and exhibits a high level of creativity
  16. Positive, flexible, and focused, with an emphasis on a can-do, hands-on approach and philosophy
  17. Ability to operate independently and proactively
  18. Need to be self-motivated, confident, and professional when dealing with both internal and external audiences such as consumers, clients, and retail partners as well as MarketSource Leadership
  19. Able to analyze and read reports
  20. Requires recognizing, identifying, and using products and necessary directives to complete visits
Additional Job Requirements

Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, and moving items

Requires the ability to move around the store, assist customers, and maneuver merchandise when necessary

Performs additional job duties as assigned

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds independently
