Key Responsibilities:

Atlassian is on the lookout for a Social Media Advertising Specialist to enhance our growth across paid social platforms. You excel in fast-paced environments, thrive on multitasking, and are dedicated to elevating team performance and project outcomes. Your data-driven mindset will guide your decision-making process.

As a key member of the paid performance team, you will leverage paid social media strategies to attract new users to Atlassian products. Your role will involve managing and scaling our paid social initiatives. We seek a proactive individual with extensive knowledge of paid social campaigns, including bid strategy optimization, audience targeting, analytics, and experimentation.

  • Expertise in campaign management, measurement, optimization, and reporting.
  • 3 - 5 years of demonstrated experience in executing paid social media campaigns across various devices, with a focus on audience targeting, analytics, and testing.
  • Proficient in major paid social media platforms, with experience in B2B marketing being advantageous.
  • Strong analytical capabilities in data manipulation (e.g., creating pivot tables, VLOOKUP, budget management).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Responsible for overseeing the performance of our paid social campaigns, continually optimizing for efficiency and scale.
  • Analyze extensive data sets to produce insightful reports and recommendations for growth and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with tracking mechanisms (e.g., UTM creation, DCM click tracking) and tagging.
  • Initiate, execute, and evaluate all paid social media experiments (e.g., incrementality testing, bid testing, creative assessments).
  • Conduct in-depth reporting on various metrics, including bids, device performance, audience segments, geographic and demographic targets, and creative effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader Paid Performance Marketing Team to implement comprehensive user acquisition strategies.
  • Work alongside Marketing Analytics, Product Marketing, and Creative Development teams.
  • Ability to function effectively in both team settings and independently.
  • Commitment to high-quality outcomes and results.

Compensation Overview:

At Atlassian, we aim to create fair, transparent, and competitive compensation structures. Our baseline compensation is set above the typical market range, reflecting our commitment to hiring top talent. Base pay is determined by the candidate's skills, expertise, and experience. In the U.S., we have three geographic pay zones:

Zone A: $115,000 - $153,400

Zone B: $103,500 - $138,000

Zone C: $95,500 - $127,300

This position may also offer additional benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
