The Role


As a Patient Services Representative, you will serve as a vital ambassador for our patients, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to service excellence.

Your role will involve removing obstacles to care, ensuring a remarkable in-office experience for patients.

You will maintain the aesthetic and ambiance of the office lobby, aligning it with the One Medical brand.

As the first point of contact for patient feedback, you will also provide support as needed to the Leads, Office Manager, or in-office providers.

You will collaborate effectively with your team, utilizing innovative problem-solving skills to address various tasks and challenges. Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential.

Identifying opportunities and delivering customer-centric solutions with empathy and compassion will be key to your success in this role.

Self-awareness will guide your daily work, allowing you to leverage your strengths while developing areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a seamless and positive in-office experience.
  • Perform all front desk duties, including patient check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and paperwork management.
  • Assist senior patients with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, sending faxes, and coordinating transportation.
  • Contribute to team development through participation in team meetings and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Master our technology suite, including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and our Electronic Medical Record System, to facilitate communication and daily tasks.
  • Execute opening and closing duties, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of both patient and employee areas.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer or patient-facing roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within diverse, collaborative, and feedback-oriented teams.
  • A proven ability to adapt to change and proactively address challenges.
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing and navigating multiple software systems.

Compensation


The starting salary for this position is $18/hour.
