Position Overview
The Senior Business Consultant plays a pivotal role in enhancing organizational performance by employing advanced business consulting and transformation methodologies. This position collaborates closely with various stakeholders, including departmental teams and Information Systems, to drive improvements across the organization.

Departmental Role
As a key member of the Business Consulting & Transformation Services Department, the Senior Business Consultant engages in a range of services such as strategic planning, process evaluations, future state modeling, and the formulation of transformation roadmaps. These services are designed to support all departments within the organization.

Supervision and Leadership
This role operates under occasional supervision, with project objectives, priorities, and deadlines set by the Manager or Director. The Senior Business Consultant is expected to lead medium to large-scale consulting projects, often involving multiple business units.

Problem Solving
The consultant is responsible for addressing both straightforward and intricate challenges in alignment with established guidelines and best practices. Additionally, this role includes mentoring and supervising junior staff members assigned to projects, ensuring successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities
1. **Consulting Service Delivery**
- Engage in process enhancement, redesign, and business assessments.
- Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to assess situations effectively.
2. **Documentation and Analysis**
- Develop comprehensive documentation of processes, including functional breakdowns and workflow diagrams.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategies.
3. **Performance Metrics**
- Analyze metrics to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Propose actionable recommendations from a people, process, and technology perspective.
4. **Risk Management**
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Align projects with current organizational strategies and methodologies.
5. **Business Case Development**
- Create business cases for proposed recommendations, including ROI assessments.
- Outline next steps and high-level implementation plans.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business process reengineering within a functional area. Proficiency in business models and consulting tools is essential.
Skills: Advanced consulting skills, strong analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills are necessary. Familiarity with project management techniques and Microsoft Office Suite is also required.

Working Environment
This position is situated in a dynamic office environment, with potential travel requirements. Flexibility in work hours may be necessary based on organizational needs.
